DEATH IN GAZA (2004, 90 min)

The harrowing documentary that portrays the intensity of violence in the lives of children in Palestine and the resulting death of its director, James Miller. Acomplished director James Miller intended to document the lives of children in the occupied territories and in Israel. While the filming was wrapping up in Gaza, James Miller was shot dead by Israeli firepower. Never in my time have I seen a documentary or any video footage that penetrates the lives of people in Gaza as well as this film. The cinematography is stunning. While the footage is at times intense, it is only saddening knowing that this is the reality seen through the eyes of thousands of children. Highly recommeneded.
