Description
The People United is a Virginia based group focusing on immigrant solidarity. Jeff Winder, one of its representatives, along with Rhonda Miska, Social Justice Minister from Church of the Incarnation, facilitated meetings in August 2007 to discuss possible local immigrant solidarity activities. A decision was made to continue the meetings every Wednesday, from 6-7:30 pm at the Parish Hall of the Church of the Incarnation (behind Toys R Us). All meetings will be in Spanish except the 1st Wednesday of the month which will be bilingual.
