A group of organizers with The People United and Madre Tierra is working to
establish a rural Popular Education Center inspired by civil rights movement
icon, The Highlander Center just outside of Charlottesville. Come and see a
brief video on Highlander’s 75-year history followed by a discussion of how
the center could support social change work in Charlottesville. During the
event, we’ll set the date for a trip to visit the farm
