Online Climate Change Petition to G8 Summit Organizers--sign NOW!

From a global online community comes a call to action regarding the earth’s environment. On March 19th, 2007, Avaaz presented a petition with 100,000 signatures to the G8 environment ministers - and they made climate change the #1 issue for the summit of their leaders this June!

G8 or The Group of Eight, you may recall, is an international forum for the governments of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States, representing the nations whose businesses contribute to major environmental degradation in myriad ways. The 33rd annual G8 summit meeting will take place June 6-8 in Heiligendamm, Germany.
