The Interfaith Cooperation Circle has been offered the use of the Gravity Lounge in downtown Charlottesville for our next event: a celebration for the International Day of Peace on Sunday, September 21.

They are planning an afternoon and/or early evening of music and poetry related to the theme of world peace. The folks at Gravity will be co-sponsoring and publicizing our event and making every effort for it to be successful. They will also be reaching out to musicians and poets in our area with whom they have worked, and who are known to resonate with peace-oriented efforts---and who may be willing to offer their talents without charge. This will be in addition to some folks within our circle who are also willing to play music or read poetry----a wonderful community collaboration which should be able to attract people of all ages to this event.
