Description

Edited by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner in collaboration with the Royal Court Theatre in London, compiled from Rachel Corrie's journals and correspondence. Rachel Corrie was killed March 16, 2003 in Gaza by an Israeli bulldozer while blocking the home of a Palestinian doctor. Approached by Alan Rickman, the Corrie family allowed this play to be written and performed.
Primarily a one-woman show, an extremely strong and confident woman looking around 17 - 30ish years old is needed. Also, any individuals of all ages capable of interpretive movement. Performance date to be in late February, early March, and will be in Staunton.
