Description
CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY
WITH A LETTER AND A CANDLE
Sunday, December 09, 2007 3:00 pm
St. Paul's Memorial Church, 1700 University
Ave
What better way to commemorate Human Rights
Day (December 10th) than by standing up for
those
whose rights have been denied? Amnesty
International's worldwide goal of 70,000
letters can make
all the difference to these individuals and
remind them that their struggle has not been
forgotten.
Not sure what the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights is, or what it means for
justice and
human dignity? Come to the candle-lit
reading at 3:00 pm.
